Snowdonia Country Cottages is owned by husband and wife Ray & Marie Forster who moved from London to Snowdonia National Park in 2005. 4 painstaking years were spent renovating their original home Ty Gilfach, cottage Bwthyn y Gilfach and latterly in 2010 The Coach House. The 50 acre Gilfach estate with its character Grade II Listed farmhouse and cottage was sold in 2015 and they now currently only let The Coach House - which is set in 3 acres of beautiful grounds behind their current home in the stunning Vale of Ffestiniog.
Hobbies? Well Ray has been a volunteer driver on the Ffestiniog Railway for 16 years now. The couple also both enjoying kayaking on the rivers and lakes of Snowdonia as well as road biking - taking in the incredible scenery of North Wales.
